To edit the coordinates of nodal vertices of an existing surface, use the following procedure.

1. Select the surface you want to modify.
2. On the Surface ribbon tab, select the Edit Surface tool in the Tools group.
   
   The surface is presented in an isolated elevation view.
3. In the Node spreadsheet, edit the nodal coordinates as necessary.
4. (Optional) You can also edit the surface properties using the Surface ribbon tab tools or the Properties panel.
5. When the edits are complete, click the Edit Surface tool again to exit the edit mode.
6. Click Yes to commit the changes to the model.
